The Mobile Challenge: Technology Risk Management in the Wireless Industry

As the wireless industry continues to evolve rapidly and mobile devices become increasingly pervasive in the everyday lives of individuals worldwide, an entirely new set of legal risks arise.  First, an end user’s relationship with a mobile device has been largely different from that of other technologies, be it a personal computer or a traditional wireline telephone.  Awareness of security risks is often lower yet the information accessed or disseminated through mobile devices parallels – if not exceeds – that of the wired internet.
