Dr. Andres Guadamuz is a Lecturer in E-Commerce at the University of Edinburgh, where he is also a co-Director of the AHRC Research Centre for Studies in Intellectual Property and Technology Law. Andres has both Bachelor and Licenciado degrees from the University of Costa Rica. He’s been in the UK since 1998 and obtained an LL.M. in International Business Law at the University of Hull and an M.Phil from Queen’s University Belfast.
Dr. Andres Guadamuz research interests are on the interaction between technology and the law, the role of intellectual property on developing countries, open source and open access.
